The Library/LRC is providing semester-long laptop and hotspot loans to COS students. To request, complete the Laptop and Hotspot Request Form (MyGiant account login is required to access) when available. Supplies are limited. It is recommended that students fill out the form as soon as it is available to get on the waiting list.
To borrow a laptop or hotspot a student must:
- Be enrolled in the current semester.
- Fill our the user agreement at checkout.
- Present a valid photo ID.
Students will be contacted within 48 hours to arrange a pick-up time. If the student misses 2 pick-up appointments, they will be removed from the list and will need to submit a request form again. Students must sign a usage agreement before checking out a laptop or hotspot for the first time. Students must return the item with all parts.
All devices MUST be returned by the end of the semester. No renewals will be given. If you have questions, you may contact the COS Library/LRC at library@cos.edu or 559-730-3825.
The student is responsible for paying the replacement cost for the part (see table below) and any processing fees ($7 per device).
